MOBIS is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team in North America. As a key member of our Electrified Powertrain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in gear manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of gear designs and manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead investigations to resolve durability and NVH concerns, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
- Optimize gear mesh losses while maintaining durability and NVH robustness, leveraging expertise in metrology and measurement tools.
- Develop and implement new design process methodologies and analytical tools to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with industry experts and manufacturing engineering to ensure gear designs and processes meet or exceed customer requirements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 1+ years of experience with gear manufacturing processes or metrology.
- Self-directed, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working Conditions:
Incumbent spends less than 50% of the time on the manufacturing floor.
