Exercise Physiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Specialist to join our team at Northern Montana Health Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, organizing, and conducting medically prescribed exercise programs for patients with cardiac and pulmonary inefficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in exercise physiology and be able to work effectively with patients of all ages and abilities. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and national certification in exercise science are preferred.

• Design and implement exercise programs for patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust programs as needed
• Document patient sessions and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and well-being
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in exercise science

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training, health promotion, physical education, or related field
• National certification in exercise science (preferred)
• Knowledge of exercise physiology and patient assessment
• Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
