Exercise Physiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Specialist to join our team at Northern Montana Hospital. As an Exercise Specialist, you will design, organize, and conduct medically prescribed exercise programs for patients with cardiac and pulmonary inefficiency.

• Develop and implement exercise programs for patients with various health conditions, including cardiac and pulmonary disease.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust exercise programs as needed.
• Document patient sessions and progress on appropriate paperwork.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and effectiveness of exercise programs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in exercise science and rehabilitation.

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training, health promotion, physical education, or a related field.
• National certification in exercise science or a related field, preferred.
• Knowledge of exercise physiology and rehabilitation principles.
• Ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain.
