Job Title: Preventative Medicine Specialist

The U.S. Army is seeking highly skilled individuals to join our team as Preventative Medicine Specialists. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the health and well-being of our soldiers and their families.

Job Summary:

Preventative Medicine Specialists are responsible for conducting inspections, surveys, and laboratory procedures to identify and prevent the spread of diseases. They also supervise preventive medicine facilities and serve on preventive medicine staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventive medicine inspections to identify potential health hazards
  • Assist with laboratory procedures to diagnose and treat diseases
  • Conduct surveys and control operations to prevent the spread of diseases
Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder
  • Must meet Army height and weight standards
  • Must have a GED or high school diploma
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
Training:

Job training for a Preventative Medicine Specialist requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 15 weeks of Advanced Individual Training. During this time, you will learn the skills necessary to conduct inspections, laboratory procedures, and surveys.
