Job Title: Home Care Assistant with CNA Certification

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Assistant with CNA certification to provide daily support and assistance to our clients who reside in their homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with their activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Administer medications and monitor vital signs under the direction of a healthcare professional.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding, as needed.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' health, behavior, and mood to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry services.
  • Provide hospice supportive care.
  • Perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living.
  • Perform patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse.
  • Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.
  • Ambulation/Transfers.
  • Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises.
  • Assisting with blood glucose monitoring.
  • Care of bed-bound patients.
  • Incontinence care.

Preferred Experience:

  • Hoyer lift.
  • Personal care.
  • Range of Motion Exercises.
  • Foley care.
  • Companionship.
  • Light cleaning.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a current CNA certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients.
  • Clean criminal background check and negative TB test results.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
