Job Responsibilities:


As a Junior Insurance Broker, you will assist the Broker in various functions to gain insights into the industry, business operations, and essential job duties required for future progression as a Broker.

You will be responsible for marketing, identifying, soliciting, and arranging suitable insurance solutions for clients by leveraging available markets. This role acts as a liaison between the Agent and the Insurance Provider, driving new business opportunities to help the Broker achieve or surpass production targets.

Key Duties:
Below is a summary of the primary responsibilities associated with this position. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

1. Build, maintain, and nurture strong relationships with clients and agents.

2. Promote new and renewal business to meet production and market standards set by the Broker with minimal supervision.

3. Market and broker the products and services offered by CRC.

4. Negotiate optimal terms and coverage options with accessible markets.

5. Prepare submissions for markets and secure competitive quotes.

6. Monitor accounts to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

7. Support the Broker in achieving or exceeding assigned production goals.


8. Stay informed about the insurance industry and sales strategies through regular participation in workshops, seminars, and continuing education.

Ensure that you maintain the necessary licenses to conduct business.

Qualifications:

1. College degree or relevant insurance designation.

2. Current state-specific license required.

3. Commitment to a minimum of three years in the program.

4. Ability to analyze information, make decisions, and manage time effectively with little or no supervision.

5. Strong ambition to progress to the role of Broker.

6. Proficiency in understanding and analyzing key components of insurance policies.

7. Ability to recognize and adapt to new trends and developments in the insurance sector.

8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

9. Teamwork capability is essential.

10. Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.

11. Flexibility to maintain a travel schedule based on client, Agent, and new business needs.

Benefits Overview:


All regular employees (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, although eligibility for specific benefits may vary based on the division of CRC Insurance Services, Inc. offering the position.

CRC provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and tax-advantaged savings accounts, along with other voluntary benefits.

All regularly scheduled employees can contribute to a 401(k) savings plan, with eligibility for company matching contributions after one year of service and upon reaching age 21.

Employees receive a minimum of 10 days of vacation (prorated based on hire date and employment status) in their first year, along with 10 sick days (also prorated) and paid holidays.
