Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach graduate courses in the Aviation and Transportation Department at Lewis University.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach one or more classes in the Aviation and Transportation Department, including on-ground and online courses.
- Advise graduate students on program progression and capstone and thesis projects.
- Supervise and mentor graduate assistants on aviation and aerospace projects, research, and initiatives.
- Conduct research and pursue funding opportunities and scholarship activities at the graduate level.
- Gain Lewis University certification and online training utilizing the Blackboard technology delivery system.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in aviation or a related field with aviation industry experience and scholarly research.
- Preferred qualifications include a doctoral degree in aviation or a related field with aviation industry experience and scholarly research, as well as FAA certifications.
Work Environment: Part-time, as needed basis.
