Job Title: Software Test Engineer (Secret)

Job Description:

Syneren Technologies Corporation is seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, automating, and implementing tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in software programs.
  • Collaborate with software developers to diagnose and rectify issues discovered during testing.
  • Improve and automate test procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in product design reviews to provide feedback on potential issues, risks, and usability.
  • Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing to validate that requirements and specifications have been met.
  • Evaluate new testing tools and methodologies to improve the efficiency of the testing process.
  • Prepare reports on findings from the testing process to inform stakeholders and support decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2-years of proven experience as a Software Test Engineer.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, NUnit, XUnit).
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
  • CompTIA Security plus certification.
  • Active Secret clearance.
