We are seeking a highly skilled Substation Protection Specialist to join our team in Colorado. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality protection and control solutions for our clients.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical protection and control design, with experience in working on high-voltage utility substation projects. You will be responsible for designing and implementing system protection and control projects, including relay one-lines, three-lines, AC/DC schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bill of material.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and quality control of system protection and control projects for high-voltage utility substations.
  • Interface with internal and external team members, including Principal Engineers, Project Engineers, Electrical Designers, Physical Designers, Draftsmen, Project Managers, and outside contractors.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in substation protection and control design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet client requirements.


Requirements:

  • 4-year engineering degree or technical degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in substation protection and control design.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
