Job Description

This role involves reviewing collateral exception reports from custodians to clear document and data exceptions in support of loan file transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing multiple clients' reporting for performance and business strategy.
  • Preparing monthly and ongoing reporting to senior management on projects and business processes.
  • Acting as a point of contact and escalation for document transaction resolution.
  • Ensuring pull through of monthly volume is met based on projections.
  • Preparing collateral related documentation, report preparation, and tracking.
  • Providing training support to the team and business process.
  • Resolving and correcting missing, incorrect, unexpected, unrecorded, illegible, damaged, or otherwise unusable documents required in a mortgage collateral file.
  • Tracking and monitoring file location and movement using database systems.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job experience.
  • Three to five years of mortgage collateral document experience.
  • Experience in capital markets, secondary marketing, or investor reporting is preferred.
