Job Title: Per Diem HR Investigator

Under the direction of the HR Director, the Per Diem HR Investigator works to resolve conflict as an investigator and mediator in situations internally on behalf of Employees and Supervisors, working to bring the two parties to a mutually agreed upon decision in line with The Salvation Army policies, procedures, and minutes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and resolve conflicts between Employees and Supervisors within the IM Division.
  • Track and manage conflict resolution cases, including regular updates and communication with all parties involved.
  • Provide training and mentoring to Supervisors as needed, with a focus on quarterly topics and proactive culture and team building projects.
  • Manage employee training needs using the employee training vendor (Pryor), including mapping out position management training by position for onboarding and orientation.
  • Support the people management needs of the IM Division, including reviewing exit interviews and tracking purposes.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualification and Education Requirements:
  • Education and experience requirements include a bulleted list of the necessary qualifications for the position.
  • Ability to reflect and model the high standards of The Salvation Army's mission.
  • Continued employment will be contingent on a biennial background check.
  • Valid in-state driver's license required for positions requiring driving.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to maneuver, remain in a stationary position, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull, and reach overhead. Ability to operate telephone. Ability to lift to 25 pounds. Ability to access and produce information from the computer. Ability to understand written information.
