About the PositionNational Home HealthCare Inc is currently seeking a skilled Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team in the Twin Cities area. As a PCA, you will be responsible for providing essential care and support to our clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
  • Help clients with health-related procedures and tasks, such as passive/active range of motion, applying and maintaining prosthetics and orthotics, and cleaning medical equipment.
  • Monitor and document client behavior and intervene as necessary.
  • Assist clients with instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), including meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and basic assistance with paying bills.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and provide transportation as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred but not required.
  • Must have PCA Certificate (ask your recruiter if you need assistance).
  • Valid Driver License and reliable vehicle.
  • 1 year homecare experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Fluent in the English Language.
  • Must be able to lift, turn, position, and transfer up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to relate changes in the client's condition to the Supervising Qualified Professional.
  • Negative TB screening results (within the last 12 months).

Salary: $15-$20 per hour depending on experience level and client location.
