Job Description

The Painting Specialist will work under the supervision of a Painter II or Lead to apply protective and/or decorative paint finishes to prepared surfaces on various products. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing job shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, free from contaminants, and properly taped for painting.
  • Paint Application: Apply liquid coatings according to specifications, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Mixing and Matching: Select and mix paints to meet project requirements, adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree not required; High School Diploma or GED is sufficient.
  • Familiarity with conventional and painting techniques specific to manufacturing needs.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, charts, and schematics.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
