Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Create a dynamic and engaging dining environment that prioritizes exceptional service and culinary excellence.

Develop and implement menus in accordance with management guidelines.

Prepare and present high-quality menu items that meet customer expectations.

Ensure the maintenance of equipment, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in the outlet.

Manage inventory, product flow, and rotation to guarantee freshness and quality.

Order supplies effectively, adhering to food cost controls and budgetary constraints.

Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and implementation, introducing new and innovative menu items and specials.

Develop a comprehensive training manual and provide ongoing training to staff, emphasizing daily presentation and explanation of specials.

Maintain quality and quantity control for all products received in the outlet.

Provide consistent follow-up on operational functions and serve as a liaison between front and back-of-house operations.

Supervise, evaluate, train, and coach staff, adhering to established policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with Food & Beverage Policies, Labor Laws, Liquor Laws, and Delaware Sanitary Codes.

Establish standards and procedures for maintaining proper sanitation and excellent customer service.

Communicate effectively with team members and guests, promoting positive relationships and resolving complaints and inquiries.

Maintain professionalism at all times and promote outstanding internal and external guest relations.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Four years of culinary experience, preferably in hospitality or entertainment facilities.

Two years of supervisory experience.

Ability to pass a background check.

Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

Confidentiality in handling employee concerns and sensitive department information.

Adherence to company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards.

Experience with P.O.S systems and PC-related systems.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management.
