  • Collaborate with development, platform, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless application integration aligned with business objectives.
  • Design and sustain secure and dependable integrations to link various applications, including on-premises, SaaS, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Establish and oversee data flows between different systems.
  • Execute transformation, orchestration, and protocol conversion across diverse applications.
  • Utilize various integration methodologies such as APIs, messaging, file transfers, and shared data approaches.
  • Develop and maintain API documentation adhering to standard frameworks and specifications (OpenAPI).
  • Automate unit and integration testing utilizing integration testing frameworks relevant to the platform (e.g., Munits for MuleSoft).
  • Diagnose and resolve application integration challenges, implementing and deploying necessary fixes.
  • Create and uphold comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Facilitate integration with observability platforms such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and other cloud technologies.
  • Monitor system performance and make adjustments as required.
  • Provide assistance for integration-related initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Application Integration Engineer.
  • Proficient in at least one integration platform (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Oracle Integration, IBM App Connect, Tibco, Informatica).
  • Experience with cloud platform integration technologies (e.g., AWS Appflow, Azure Data Factory, Google Dataflow).
  • Familiarity with API management platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Apigee, Kong).
  • Knowledge of low-code integration tools (e.g., Workato, Snaplogic).
  • Experience with messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, AWS services like Kinesis, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, Azure Service Bus, Google Pub/Sub).
  • Skilled in designing and developing inbound and outbound integration interfaces using API web services (REST and SOAP).
  • Understanding of XML-related technologies (e.g., XML, XSD, XPATH, XSLT).
  • Experience with HTTP, REST, SOAP, JSON, FTP, SFTP, and cloud object storage technologies (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Storage).
  • Experience integrating with databases (SQL) for application integration.
  • Familiarity with software version control systems (e.g., GIT, SVN).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Experience with team collaboration platforms (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps) and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience monitoring integrations using observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS CloudWatch).
