Job Description

At Apple, we're committed to delivering innovative products that elevate the customer experience. As a Hardware System Integration Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of AirPods by driving product architectures, designing PCBs and flexible circuits, and creating optimized system validation plans.

As an experienced member of our team, you'll contribute to the development of high-volume products, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver electronic solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

We're seeking dedicated and innovative engineers who can take ownership of various aspects of system hardware development. If you have a strong background in Electrical Engineering and experience in designing electronics and/or embedded systems, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Drive product architectures and design PCBs and flexible circuits
  • Create optimized system validation plans
  • Oversee manufacturing test requirements
  • Contribute to prototype bring-up and testing
  • Analyze data and troubleshoot issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 2+ years relevant industry experience designing electronics and/or embedded systems
  • Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals (analog/digital design, signal/power integrity, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience in prototyping, bring-up, debug, and validation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with high-volume products/consumer electronics from proof of concept to mass production
  • Expertise in board and flex designs, including schematic and layout
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: CPU/SOC, power (DC-DC converters, battery, power management, low power design), inductive power, analog circuits, audio, RF integration and measurement, sensor design and integration, ESD safety
