Our healthcare facility in Cherokee, IA is in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Emergency Medical Technician to enhance our Emergency Department services. Emergency Medical Technicians respond to urgent calls and patient transfers while providing essential support in the Emergency Department. Cherokee Regional Medical Center operates a 24/7 Emergency Medical Technician service, ensuring comprehensive care for our community.
Position Overview:
Full-time role consisting of 2-24 hour evening shifts, with a rotating on-call schedule each week.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will hold a Paramedic license in the State of Iowa; both experienced professionals and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Certification in ACLS and PALS is required or candidates must be willing to obtain these certifications. Strong critical thinking abilities and a genuine commitment to working in high-pressure environments are essential.
