The New Grad RN - Clinical Development Program at TriStar Horizon Medical Center is a comprehensive training program designed to support the transition of new graduate nurses into professional nursing practice. This program provides a structured learning environment, hands-on clinical experience, and mentorship from experienced nurses to help new graduates develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in today's hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in a comprehensive training program that includes advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship training, and measurement and evaluation of skills through hands-on simulations.
- Work collaboratively with experienced nurse leaders and colleagues to develop and implement evidence-based practice projects.
- Develop and maintain a high level of clinical competence and critical thinking skills through ongoing education and training.
- Provide exceptional patient care and service, responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating patient needs to resolve them proactively.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 1 year of employment.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
- No previous experience needed.
