Job Title: Plumbing Mechanic

At Hog Technologies, we are seeking a skilled Plumbing Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for building and installing water hoses/lines, pumps, freshwater tanks, debris tanks, high-pressure lines, and pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, and test water management equipment using hand tools or power tools.
  • Plan layout and installation of water lines/hoses, equipment, or fixtures based on job specifications.
  • Inspect equipment or components to identify defects or the need for adjustment or repair.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  • Troubleshoot all leaks.

Requirements:

  • Experience with hoses, pumps, and valves.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in assembling plumbing equipment.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision systems.
  • Ability to determine the cause of errors and troubleshoot to resolve the issue(s).
  • Able to utilize hands to grasp and assemble objects.
  • Must be able to lift 20-30 pounds throughout the day.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for an eight-hour shift.
  • Must be an energetic self-starter and have an intense sense of urgency; and capable of following tasks through to completion.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services.

Working Environment:

This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. However, this schedule may vary based on the needs of the shop and as assigned by the production supervisor.
