Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our dental hygiene team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and education, while working closely with our doctors to deliver comprehensive dental services.
Responsibilities- Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings, and x-rays.
- Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods.
- Communicate with doctors where there are opportunities for restorative and/or periodontal needs.
- Obtain and review dental history and/or records from patients, ensuring health history is updated for all returning patients.
- Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license.
- X-Ray/Radiology Certification where state regulations specify.
- Local Anesthesia/Nitrous Oxide certification where state regulations specify.
