Senior Construction Manager for Civil Engineering Projects

About the Role

V2X is seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead our civil engineering projects. This role requires a strong background in construction management, project management, and engineering design.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing high-profile construction projects, with experience in supervising mid-sized teams and overseeing complex operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for construction projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Develop and implement construction plans, including cost estimates, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Manage and evaluate contractor performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates and financial analysis.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years' experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years' experience in construction management.
  • Skills: Proven leadership skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and expertise in project management software.
  • Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) registration desired.

Working Environment

  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Work in an operationally sensitive environment.
  • May require travel to project sites.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
