Overview of the Mortgage Loan Officer Role

Maverick Financial Group is actively seeking experienced NMLS Licensed Loan Officers throughout Kentucky for our esteemed mortgage partners. We offer competitive compensation (150+ BPS), exceptional pricing, and streamlined operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, approving, or denying loan applications for both individual and corporate clients. You will provide essential support to clients and our financial team, ensuring that approved applicants receive their loans promptly. **WE ARE LOOKING FOR ACTIVE LOAN OFFICERS WITH AT LEAST 6 FUNDED LOANS IN THE LAST 90 DAYS**

Key Responsibilities of the Loan Officer:
  • Engage with loan applicants to evaluate their financial qualifications and determine suitable loan options.
  • Conduct timely assessments of creditworthiness through thorough analysis of loan applications and supporting documents.
  • Develop debt repayment strategies and calculate relevant ratios and metrics.
  • Present various loan products based on customer needs and explore all available options.
  • Communicate with clients to provide assistance or gather necessary information.
  • Oversee loan agreements and advise clients on company policies and regulations.
  • Make informed decisions (approvals/rejections) based on analytical outcomes.
  • Prepare reports on decisions made and present findings to senior management.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in loan types and financial services.
  • Maintain accurate account records.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and adherence to company guidelines in all loan operations.
  • Build and nurture referral networks and alternative channels to enhance performance.
  • Foster trust-based relationships with clients to achieve their loyalty and satisfaction.
Qualifications for the Loan Officer:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Loan Officer role with a valid State NMLS License.
  • Extensive experience with both direct and indirect lending products and practices.
  • Proficient in banking applications and related software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales acumen.
  • Focus on goals and customer satisfaction.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
