Pulmonary Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pulmonary Specialist to join our team at Northside Hospital Inc. As a key member of our respiratory therapy department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of our pulmonary procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide training and technical assistance to respiratory therapists on a tri-campus basis, ensuring seamless support to physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic pulmonary procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians to perform complex pulmonary procedures, utilizing your expertise to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Serve as a technical resource for respiratory therapists, providing guidance and support on pulmonary procedures and equipment.
- Work with diverse patient populations, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, to deliver personalized care and support.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of an accredited program in respiratory therapy, cardiovascular, or a related field.
- Registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT), or Registered Cardio-Pulmonary Technologist (RCPT) is required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in pulmonary therapy, with a strong focus on bronchoscopy procedures.
- Current BCLS certification and valid state license.
Work Environment:
- 7AM-7:30PM work hours.
- No weekend or on-call requirements.
