Position Overview

The Enrollment Services Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Director and Assistant Director of Enrollment Services in overseeing the daily functions of the enrollment services department and the one-stop service center.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional and confidential administrative assistance to the Enrollment Services team, collaborating closely with leadership to develop and maintain training resources.

• Oversee the daily operations of Enrollment Services (One Stop) and guide the enrollment services specialists, including mentoring, training, and enhancing customer service practices. Lead a team of specialists and ensure timely communication of updates and essential information to staff and stakeholders.

• Analyze processes and procedures, employing critical thinking to identify areas for improvement in the customer experience.

• Ensure that enrollment services staff deliver consistent and accurate information to visitors and the university community.

• Act as a higher-level point of contact for visitors with complex enrollment issues or those who may be dissatisfied.

• Represent enrollment services in cross-functional committees, managing assigned office procedures, training, and data integrity.

• Demonstrate sensitivity to cultural diversity and acknowledge personal biases to respond appropriately to diverse situations, fostering equity and inclusion in interactions with individuals from various backgrounds.

• Possess foundational to intermediate knowledge of technology, including software for communication, data management, student information systems, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

• Generate reports and utilize data to inform decisions regarding staffing, recommended changes, and departmental initiatives.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education
A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.

Experience
  • Two years of relevant experience in higher education, particularly within a student services environment.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong research and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.
