Job Summary

As a Quality Technician at Staco Systems, you will be responsible for performing visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections of purchased and fabricated parts. Your ability to identify manufactured defects and modify minor production errors will be crucial in ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform testing on all products prior to shipping to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Participate in the inspection of all components and materials received from outside vendors and internal fabricators to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
  • Assist in the corrective action process associated with Material Review Board (MRB) or audit programs related to final inspection of our product.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager to evaluate product returns and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform production line audits as requested by customer purchase specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Act as a liaison for the company to ensure all equipment is properly checked out for calibration testing.
  • Participate in the first article inspection on all components received, when required, to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform document control duties, as needed, to maintain accurate records of quality-related activities.
Requirements:
  • Must have experience working with electro-mechanical products and previous experience testing electrical products.
  • Experience with interpreting Engineering drawing requirements and knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, QS9000, or TS-16949 is a must.
  • Experienced computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • 2-year technical degree preferred.
Physical Standards:
  • Ability to move throughout the plant as required.
  • Ability to sit and operate a computer workstation and microscope.
  • Good eyesight and finger dexterity.
