Overview:
Steubenville Dental Studio is seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant - Expanded Functions to join our team. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for assisting doctors with various tasks, including charting, placement of fillings, and patient education.

Responsibilities:
As a Dental Assistant - Expanded Functions, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting doctors with charting, placement of fillings, and patient education
• Performing expanded duties following state regulations and compliance
• Assisting in clinical procedures and treatment, such as placing amalgam or composite fillings, adaptation of temporary crowns, and applying topical fluoride treatments
• Recording and reviewing patient health history, making chart entries under the doctor's direction, and assuring completion of forms and signatures in dental software

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

• EFDA Certification or on-the-job training required per state requirements
• Radiography licensure for respective state requirements
• 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
• CPR Certification is required
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of dental charting software and digital x-rays with the ability to learn new programs as necessary
