Travel MRI Technologist Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Houston, Texas.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract position that requires the successful candidate to work 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications and at least one year of experience in a similar setting.

Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per year (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week)About the Position

The Allied Health Professional will be responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures while working closely with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures as required
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient exams
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve imaging procedures and patient outcomes
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A valid professional license as required by the state
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Radiology-related certifications preferred, may be required for specific positions
  • At least one year of recent experience in a similar setting, preferably in MRI or related field
