Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Confluence Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and provide high-quality patient care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and special MRI procedures, operating assigned equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness of the scanner. They will also be required to take standby shifts and be available on call as needed.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform MRI examinations while operating assigned equipment in a safe manner, as instructed.
  2. Evaluate MRI images for technical quality and develop procedures for effective utilization of the MRI scanner.
  3. Prepare patients for examinations, complete informed consent forms, and administer contrast media under physician supervision.
  4. Maintain the cleanliness of the scanner and associated minor equipment in accordance with infection control policies and procedures.
  5. Take standby shifts and be available on call as needed, responding within 20 minutes of notification.
  6. Lift patients safely and utilize hydraulic lifts or other safe patient handling devices when necessary.
  7. Participate in Quality Improvement Programs and maintain active Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
  8. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a course in Radiologic Technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Minimum one year as a radiologic technologist, including fluoroscopy experience.
  • Washington State Certification as a radiologic technologist.
  • ARRT registered in MRI or within one year of employment in MRI classification.
