Unit Information:
The Emergency Department will feature 8 beds, catering to a diverse patient demographic, including both adults and children facing various medical challenges. This environment is ideal for enhancing your skills and critical thinking abilities, as you will encounter a wide range of diagnoses and emergency conditions. The ED promotes a collaborative atmosphere, prioritizing teamwork, superior patient experiences, and evidence-based emergency care.

Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for assigned patients, utilizing evidence-based practices; assist providers with patient assessments, examinations, and treatments; perform basic medical procedures under supervision.
- Administer medications as directed by the provider, adhering to established standards and policies.
- Support emergency situations under the guidance of the provider.
- Thoroughly educate patients and their families regarding procedures and diagnoses.
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with documentation standards.
- Assume accountability for care provided by both licensed and unlicensed personnel as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care, including delegation and supervision of care team members.
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with electronic medical records preferred.
