Job Title: Correctional Healthcare Provider

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate healthcare professional to provide high-quality medical care to inmates in a correctional/detention facility setting.

About the Role:Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily sick call and provide emergency care for identified medical emergencies.
  • Coordinate patient transfers to appropriate facilities as needed.
  • Perform minor surgical procedures, repair lacerations, and remove sutures.
  • Treat and manage non-psychotic behavioral health disorders.
  • Participate in Quality Management and Peer Review activities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Completion of a master's program in nursing (NPs) or an accredited education program for PAs.
  • Experience: Previous correctional/detention facility experience with a minimum of two (2) years' experience.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Unrestricted current license, certification or registration in state of practice, Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration, and Current (and must maintain) lifesaving BLS and PALS (where applicable) certification through AHA.
Compensation Range:

$67.67 - $82.71 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
