The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming phone calls and internet leads, confirming sales appointments, and performing long-term follow-up on unsold customers. The successful candidate will strive to generate repeat business by reaching out to current customers and ensuring complete satisfaction in ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with internet customers and prospects via phone, email, or in-person
  • Manage internet sales leads, respond to inquiries, and answer questions on available stock and product performance
  • Maintain an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business
  • Keep the website up-to-date with vehicle specifications and availability
  • Schedule appointments with interested buyers for test drives and vehicle delivery
  • Disclose sales terms with consumers and review sales with dealership management

Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience is essential
  • Previous call center, internet sales, inside sales, or telesales experience is required, with a minimum of 1 year
  • Dealership experience is preferred
  • Strong communication skills are necessary to work effectively with customers
  • Must be internet savvy, have good computer skills, and excellent organizational skills to manage sales leads and website data
  • Excellent follow-through and follow-up skills
  • Professional demeanor at all times with customers
