As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research and development in the areas of spatial computing, distributed architecture, computer vision, graphic rendering, avatar animation, AI/ML modeling, and other technical areas related to XR and Metaverse.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct R&D in Emerging Technologies: Conduct research and development in the areas of spatial computing, distributed architecture, computer vision, graphic rendering, avatar animation, AI/ML modeling, and other technical areas related to XR and Metaverse.
- Collaborate with Industry and Academia: Collaborate with industry partners and academic institutions to advance the state-of-the-art in ARVR technology.
- Develop Internal XR Platform Prototypes: Develop internal XR platform prototypes with a focus on system and algorithm requirements, data acquisition, organization, and management.
- Optimize System and Algorithm Efficiency: Conduct performance tuning and optimization to maximize system and algorithm development efficiency.
- Design and Implement Demonstration Systems: Design and implement demonstration systems, create new features, and prototype, implement, and evaluate application algorithms.
- Support Research Initiatives: Support ARVR, computer graphics, and video technology research initiatives and implement leading-edge technologies with best practices.
- Advanced Degree: MS & PhD in Computer Science, EE, or related fields.
- Research Experience: Proven experience in academic research and publication.
- Software Development Skills: Strong knowledge in software development in related fields with hands-on experiences.
- Programming Languages: Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: C/C++, Python.
- ARVR Experience: Knowledge and hands-on experience in ARVR system, computer graphic, computer vision, or machine learning algorithms is a strong plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Continuous Learning: Eagerness to learn new technologies.
