Job Summary:

Ledcor Technical Services is a leading provider of telecommunications network construction and maintenance services. We are seeking a highly experienced Telecommunications Field Construction Manager to join our team in the states of Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the smooth functioning of day-to-day field operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This includes developing and implementing project plans and schedules, ensuring safety and quality control, and delegating work to field staff, contractors, and tradespeople.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes, and that high-quality standards are maintained.
  • Participate in the development of the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and manage PQP conformance on site.
  • Strive to create a workplace environment where safety is prioritized above all else, ensuring compliance with and often exceeding the standards set by corporate policies and government agencies.
  • Maintain a vigilant oversight of project schedules, anticipating and resolving issues to ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify and evaluate the potential financial consequences of change orders, ensuring that project budgets remain aligned with project goals.
  • Coordinate the activities of field teams, ensuring that resources are utilized effectively and that operational objectives are met.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with subcontractors, providing guidance and support while holding them accountable for meeting project requirements.
  • Oversee the procurement process from requisition to invoice, ensuring that all documentation is complete and accurate.
Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of managing telecom construction projects, with at least three years of experience in supervisory roles.
  • In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, documentation, and financial management.
  • Ability to develop and execute project schedules, identify potential construction challenges, and implement effective solutions.
  • Highly competent in communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders, understanding their needs, leading and managing a high-performing team.
Working Conditions:

This is a site-based position that requires the ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 75 pounds), working at heights, in confined spaces, and in all types of weather conditions.
