Job Title: Permit Specialist - Telecommunications

At Pearce Services, we're seeking a highly skilled Permit Specialist to join our team. As a Permit Specialist, you will play a critical role in obtaining all necessary encroachment and construction permits for various telecom and utility projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain all necessary permits for telecom and utility projects
  • Work with local, state, and federal jurisdictions to resolve conflicts and track multiple concurrent permit submittals
  • Collaborate with telecom engineering and construction management teams to ensure timely completion of permits
  • Provide site acquisition expertise for specific projects
  • Read and interpret surveys and construction drawings
  • Update site status reports and databases
  • Research and understand jurisdictional requirements for permit application submissions
  • Evaluate real estate ownership types and recommend viable locations
  • Understand and evaluate environmental and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and present at zoning approval and public meetings
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in telecommunications, right-of-way management, and/or related real estate or legal work
  • High level of proficiency with MS Excel, MS Outlook, Microsoft Word, Google Earth, and other database or tracking tools
  • Familiarity with the process of acquiring encroachment, excavation, and traffic control permits
  • Knowledge of Real Estate fundamentals and Site Acquisition
  • Ability to travel as needed
