Job Summary

Cottage Health is seeking a highly skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist III - Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our neurodiagnostic team, you will be responsible for developing, directing, and performing standard and advanced diagnostic testing procedures, including electroencephalograms (EEG), nerve conduction studies (NCS), electromyograms (EMG), and evoked potentials (EP) on patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and direct diagnostic testing procedures, including EEG, NCS, EMG, and EP
  • Perform complex multimodality intraoperative neuromonitoring and modify monitoring techniques to accommodate diverse intraoperative situations
  • Collect and analyze recordings and measurements of the electrical activity of the central and/or peripheral nervous system
  • Provide monitoring data effective in localizing anatomical structures and nervous system tissues
  • Review and apply current developments in neurophysiological monitoring techniques and standards of practice

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university or hospital-based Electroneurodiagnostic Program
  • Current Certification in Intraoperative Neurophysiologic Monitoring (CNIM) and AHA BLS Certification
  • 5 years of experience in intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring and clinical Evoked Potential testing
  • 1 year of experience in a lead role as a neuro-diagnostic technologist
