About the Job

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at a reputable long-term care facility in Carnegie, PA. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct patient care, including basic nursing skills, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

This 13-week assignment offers a unique chance to gain valuable experience in long-term care while working with a talented team of healthcare professionals. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including basic nursing skills, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and ambulation
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient care
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

  • A valid CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • One to three years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
