Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

HealthPRO Heritage is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Polk County, FL.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week in an in-person setting at Horizons Elementary/Loughman Oaks Elementary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations.
  • Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results and implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
Requirements
  • Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP) preferred.
