Role Summary:
This role is situated within the Product Support (PS) division of the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) sector. The successful candidate will oversee procurement activities of medium to high complexity, catering to various internal stakeholders across the organization. This position serves as the primary liaison for communication between programs and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage quotation processes, negotiations, and documentation.
- Select and evaluate qualified suppliers, exploring alternatives as necessary.
- Conduct supplier negotiations regarding pricing, schedules, and contractual terms, including software licenses.
- Oversee post-award management in line with corporate guidelines.
- Review and negotiate terms and conditions, advising the Subject Matter Expert and/or Supply Chain Advisor as needed.
- Travel may be required for supplier engagement and program support.
Essential Qualifications:
- A University Degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a procurement or buying role, or an advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory for access to sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with supplier management systems, particularly SAP-PRISM.
- Proficient in filtering information from diverse sources to foster innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite and supply chain processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of DoD procurement and familiarity with FAR/DFARS regulations.
- Strong multitasking capabilities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in formal negotiations regarding pricing and contractual obligations.
- Ability to process a high volume of purchase orders across various programs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
- Capability to manage responsibilities with minimal oversight.
- Quick adaptability to new information and processes.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between 77,000 USD and 163,000 USD, reflecting various experience levels. RTX considers multiple factors when determining offers, including role responsibilities, candidate experience, and key skills.
