About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for overall project success, including profitability, schedule, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Direct and manage project management and field staff to execute project strategy and overcome challenges.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders associated with each construction project.
  • Manage and mentor Project Engineers and interns.
  • Oversee assigned projects per the Standard processes, from Pre-Construction through Closeout.
  • Support the Project Superintendents to manage and maintain project schedule according to HB Standard.
  • Manage overall project budget and finances to achieve margin, cashflow and profit goals.
  • Visit and/or work from construction sites to monitor project progress and address issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage health, safety, and OSHA requirements.
  • Identify value added opportunities to meet and/or exceed client and stakeholder specific goals.
  • Collaborate and maintain a strong partnership with the Project Superintendent on each of the assigned projects.
  • Monitor and ensure strong subcontractor relationships.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to solicit referrals from and/or through clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for community involvement and/or giving on each assigned project.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field. Candidates with significant relevant experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
  • Experience managing construction projects of various sizes and complexity is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with construction industry standards, practices, and regulations is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with team members, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Leadership abilities to effectively lead and motivate project teams.
  • Problem-solving skills to address challenges and resolve issues that arise during construction projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting (e.g., Microsoft Project and Procore).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certification for construction safety (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification).
  • LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) for green building projects.
