Key Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will be primarily accountable for the effective organization and execution of our excavation projects. The ideal candidate should possess a keen attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints is essential to ensure that all project components align with specific requirements and timelines.

Additional duties include overseeing, coordinating, and scheduling project resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel. Exceptional leadership and communication skills are vital, as the Project Manager will provide team members with essential project information, on-site support, and training.

Safety is paramount at MCC, Inc. Project Managers are expected to maintain a safe working environment across all job sites, around various types of moving equipment and traffic, and under diverse weather conditions. Compliance with all workplace regulations and company policies is mandatory.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of six years of experience in excavation and grading, or a four-year degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with CAD, drafting, and 3D GPS is advantageous.
  • A valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record is required; Class A CDL is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to adapt to various software programs through training.
  • Independent judgment and decision-making capabilities, with a knack for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks within deadlines.
  • Ability to provide and understand clear instructions, blueprints, or directions (both general and technical).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of collaborating with diverse individuals.
  • Dependability and trustworthiness, with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Ability to identify and report various hazards, ensuring a safe work environment to prevent accidents and injuries.
