Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Amtrak Client Manager to lead business development, project management, and client relationship building for our growing Rail and Transit Practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic plans to win and deliver Amtrak projects
- Provide oversight and technical advisement on all Amtrak projects
- Mentor and advise staff on rail operations, policies, and best practices
- Recruit and select outstanding candidates to support Amtrak and Michael Baker's Rail and Transit team
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 12 years of experience with Amtrak, with demonstrable planning, design, or engineering/operations management experience
- Strong client management skills, ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability
- Knowledge of the business development process and MS Office 365
