Job Summary:

The Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a full-time radiologist to pursue an academic career in Cardiovascular and/or Thoracic Imaging. The successful candidate will join our team of experts in interpreting chest imaging studies, including MRI examinations, CT scans, and radiographs.

We offer a fun, intellectual, and collegial work environment, with opportunities for remote work and a fully integrated Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), Electronic Health Record (EHR), and reporting system.

Members of our cardiovascular and thoracic imaging sections are actively involved in national and international professional societies and recognized for their clinical skills and passion for teaching.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpretation and reporting of chest imaging studies, including MRI examinations, CT scans, and radiographs.
  • Teaching and scholarly activities, including protected time for trainees and students.

Requirements:

  • Terminal degree (MD or DO).
  • Cardiovascular and/or Thoracic Radiology fellowship training or equivalent experience.
  • Wisconsin medical license eligible by start date.
  • Board certified or board eligible by American Board of Radiology (ABR).
