The Role
Overview
We are seeking a Mobile Radiologic Technologist to work within the Healthcare Services sector.

Compensation: $2500-$3000 Weekly gross (before taxes)

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will have the chance to work with some of the leading healthcare providers nationwide. Assignments can range from 12 weeks to a year in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

In this position, the successful candidates will operate as Radiologic Technologists, conducting examinations for patients of all ages to aid in diagnosing medical conditions.

  • Conducting diagnostic imaging procedures on designated anatomical areas in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Identifying and documenting internal structures and any abnormalities that may indicate medical issues.
  • Adjusting imaging equipment and reassuring patients to minimize test artifacts.
  • Monitoring patients for any concerning physical or emotional changes.
  • Assessing test results for precision and clarity.
  • Collaborating with peers and physicians to review imaging results.
  • Communicating preliminary findings to physicians as per departmental guidelines.
  • Distributing finalized test results to medical professionals and service providers.
  • Preparing diagnostic information for physician review.
  • Maintaining patient records, entering diagnosis and billing codes, and updating patient information systems.
  • Cleaning and sterilizing imaging equipment and work areas.
  • Identifying equipment malfunctions and coordinating repairs.
  • Instructing patients on pre-test procedures and addressing their inquiries.
  • Adhering to hospital and departmental policies and protocols.
  • Ensuring equipment is maintained in line with Infection Control standards.
  • Enhancing technical skills through ongoing education and training.
  • Administering contrast agents under the supervision of a site Radiologist, following specific protocols.
  • Maintaining valid Permits to Practice in all relevant states.
  • Conducting quality checks on equipment and troubleshooting issues.
  • Notifying relevant team members regarding service needs.
  • Following quality assurance protocols and ensuring patient confidentiality.
  • Performing additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications for Success

Required Experience:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital environment, particularly in ER, OR, Trauma, and Portable imaging.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
  • Current ARRT license, registered in Radiography.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • State license (candidates without this may be considered if willing to obtain).
Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with clients and team members in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and sound judgment are essential.
In this role, the successful candidates will function as Radiologic Technologists, performing examinations to assist in diagnosing patient conditions.
