About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Security Patrol Officer. As a Security Patrol Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our resort, guests, and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol front and back of house areas, reporting any breaches of security to the Security Manager and/or Security Supervisor
  • Process incident reports and communicate accordingly
  • Provide guest and employee services, such as opening building doors and assisting guests with rides
  • Conduct parking enforcement, monitoring parking violations and issuing parking citations
  • Perform foot patrols and report on unsafe conditions, fire hazards, and security issues
  • Conduct investigations when directed concerning accidents, employee, and/or security incidents
  • Coordinate efforts with outside agencies, such as law enforcement and emergency services
  • Maintain accurate daily logs and other records of all activities throughout the shift
  • Ensure proper checkout procedures of keys and radios for employees and contractors
  • Conduct regular inspections of fire and life safety systems
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
  • At least 2 years of formal Resort Security experience (preferred)
  • At least 2 years of hospitality guest service experience (preferably in a resort setting)
  • Knowledge and experience dealing with emergencies
  • Knowledge and experience with Traffic Control procedures (preferred)
  • Knowledge of security processes (preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to be on your feet for up to 8 hours and work in inclement weather
  • Strong communication skills, able to work with a diversity of staff and guests
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
