Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on a diverse range of equipment, including large machinery and small tools.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, ranging from basic tune-ups to complex component replacements, to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently, utilizing diagnostic tools and your expertise to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and rental regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize workload and ensure timely completion of repairs, minimizing downtime for rented equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service, offering guidance and assistance to customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with gas and diesel engines, light duty to HD vehicles.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to perform repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively, minimizing equipment downtime.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
