Job Summary

This is a challenging opportunity to join the Army National Guard Units as a Human Resources Specialist (Labor Relations). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on labor relations issues, ensuring a positive and productive work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Labor Relations Support: Offer guidance and advice to management and employees on labor relations issues, including collective bargaining agreements, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
  • Negotiate Labor Contracts: Serve as a chief negotiator and participate in labor contract negotiations, ensuring that the Army National Guard Units' interests are represented.
  • Develop and Implement Labor Management Partnerships: Collaborate with management and union representatives to develop and implement labor management partnerships, improving communication and resolving conflicts.
  • Provide Training and Development: Train supervisors and managers on labor relations policies and procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to handle labor-related issues effectively.
  • Conduct Investigations and Provide Recommendations: Conduct investigations into labor-related complaints and provide recommendations for resolution.
Requirements
  • Security Clearance: Must have a completed National Agency Check (NAC) prior to position assignment.
  • Education: A high school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma is required. An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university is desired.
  • Experience: One year of specialized experience in human resources, labor relations, or a related field is required.
