Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a dialysis setting, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing dialysis treatments.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Conduct patient assessments, identify potential complications, and take appropriate action to prevent or manage them.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dialysis techniques and technologies.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- At least 6 months of experience in dialysis nursing, preferably in an outpatient setting.
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
