Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Amergis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality speech-language pathology services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' communication, oral-motor integrity, cognitive status, memory, and problem-solving abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy programs to address functional speech defects and other communication disorders.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams on speech therapy techniques and strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of assignment.
- Minimum one year of experience in speech-language pathology, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
