Job Summary:
As a Part-time ED Charge Nurse at Baptist Health, you will oversee the efficient functioning of the Emergency Department, ensuring the provision of high-quality patient care. Under the direction of the Unit Director, Clinical House Supervisor, and/or Designee, you will provide supervision of workflow and staff, addressing performance, risk management, patient, family, and physician issues as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care activities on the unit, including nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments.
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities, ensuring seamless patient flow.
• Provide patient and family-centered education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning as applicable.

Requirements:
• Active Kentucky RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and/or other designated unit-specific certification training/requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or currently actively pursuing a BSN degree (BSN degree must be completed within 5 years of starting program).
• Minimum of one year of Registered Nurse experience.
