Our FX Well division manages multiple fitness centers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, collaborating closely with Texas Health Resources. This role involves recruiting and overseeing personal trainers and group fitness instructors, ensuring that FX Well is recognized as the premier choice for fitness services in the area. You will work in tandem with the location manager and the Regional Training Director to address the needs and preferences of our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of personal trainers and group class instructors for the designated location;
  • Foster the development and success of all fitness service providers, promoting the growth of individual client bases and initiatives that drive business expansion;
  • Supervise fitness staff on a daily basis, monitoring performance against company KPIs and metrics while managing any performance-related issues;
  • Collaborate with senior management, business development colleagues, and marketing teams to create effective promotional strategies for services and the location;
  • Support fitness-related special events and follow up post-event, monitor and report on facility equipment issues, and engage in similar activities.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as exercise science or kinesiology preferred, or equivalent professional experience;
  • At least 5 years of experience as a personal trainer or fitness instructor, demonstrating success in growing your client base and effective lead generation strategies;
  • A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role managing a team of fitness and wellness professionals, including hiring, talent management, and oversight of contractor trainers as needed;
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and listening – complemented by strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal abilities;
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset that addresses challenges and potential issues promptly and judiciously;
  • A collaborative team player who is open to receiving and integrating constructive feedback;
  • Current national certification (NSCA, ASCM, NASM) is strongly preferred, along with certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid;
  • Proficient in MS Office and general computer skills, with experience in ABC Fitness Solutions software preferred but not mandatory.
